What is Flashdance Like?
Flashdance – The Musical is much like the film that became a pop culture phenomenon. The production includes hit songs from the movie, all of which became Top Ten hits on the radio around the world including the Academy Award-winning title song “Flashdance – What a Feeling,” “Maniac,” “Gloria,” “Manhunt,” & “I Love Rock & Roll.” In addition to these hits, 16 brand new original songs have been written for the stage.
Is Flashdance Good for Kids?
Oh What A Feeling…but maybe not for everyone. This show contains mature content and strong language which may not be suitable for all ages. Flashdance has a sexy vibe, but the story is largely a fairy tale, a glamorous wish-fulfillment pop fantasy for teen girls on what being an adult is like.
